** PLEASE NOTE ** For 2026, we will be changing our public opening schedule from monthly to quarterly in order to perform maintenance and upgrades to the railroad. We will *not* be open every month — please see the schedule below.

2026 Schedule:

  • Saturday, May 16th, 1:00pm – 5:00pm and 7:00pm – 10:00pm
  • Sunday, May 17th, 1:00pm  – 5:00pm
  • Saturday, August 15th, 1:00pm – 5:00pm and 7:00pm – 10:00pm
  • Sunday, August 16th, 1:00pm – 5:00pm
  • Saturday, November 14th, 1:00pm – 5:00pm and 7:00pm – 10:00pm
  • Sunday, November 15th, 1:00pm – 5:00pm

Suggested donation: $7 for adults, $2 for children, under 7 are free. We take cash and major credit cards. Cameras are welcome and binoculars or opera glasses are a good idea. The Museum is wheelchair accessible, air conditioned, and has public bathrooms.
